What is a hotel PMS?
A PMS (property management system) is where a hotel's daily operation lives: reservations, room availability, rates, arrivals and departures, and invoicing. It is the tool the front desk uses every day and the source of the data behind every decision.
Why a PMS with a built-in channel manager?
A channel manager connects the hotel's inventory to online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Booking and Expedia. When the PMS and the channel manager are separate systems, every sale has to be updated in several places, and a single delay can sell the same room twice. With both integrated in one platform, a booking on any channel updates availability everywhere at once: no overbookings and no double entry.
Clavis Suite: a PMS built for hotels in Mexico
Clavis Suite brings together operations (PMS), OTA distribution (channel manager) and the CFDI 4.0 electronic invoicing required by Mexico's tax authority. It runs in the cloud, so no on-site servers are needed. It is developed and supported by JJ Díaz de Sandi & Asociados, a hotel consulting firm: implementation is done by people who know hotel operations, not just software.
